- cardboard trays used hold 4 cups of coffee from a place like Dunkin Dounuts
- Styrofoam trays that meat and vegitabled are sold on.

- · Old Blenders for making paper
- · Iron for batik and other various projects
- · Crock pots for heating wax for Batik projects
- · Old Nylons or panty hose – any length (for making abstract sculptures)
- · Roofing paper (for large group murals called a fauves)
- · Flat items with interesting surfaces to create texture rubbings (for example, door mats, screening, sand paper, plastic mesh, bumpy fabric, burbur carpet scraps, etc.)
- · Plastic cartoon characters or figurines, plastic animals, dinosaurs
