Mrs. Nathman was awarded a B.S. in Psychology and a B.S. in Occupational Therapy.
Mrs. Nathman is the Occupational Therapist for students in the second through sixth grades.
Mrs. Nathman works on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and the best way to contact her is via e-mail at nathman@norfolk.k12.ma.us. Activities that help to promote upper body strength: wheel barrel walking crab walking Twister use a zip line at a play ground Activities that help to promote hand strength: using play dough or silly putty use play dough or silly putty and add items such as small erasers, buttons, navy beans and ask the child to pull these hidden items out using a hole punch on paper or construction paper using a clothespin to pick up items such as cotton balls or pom poms Activities that work on fine motor skills: Lite Brite Pick Up Stix Perfection Activities that work on visual motor skills: lace cards scissors activities such as cutting out coupons or shapes connect the dot activities Activities that work on visual perceptual skills: hidden picture activities mazes word searches puzzles |
