Students will receive a birthday card and birthday pencil from the teacher.  The card entitles them to one free snack from the cafeteria.  Students will also have an opportunity to do a Mad Libs with the class.  

    Homework will typically be assigned Monday through Thursday.  Occasionally make up work or special projects may need to be completed over a weekend.  The homework will be assigned to reinforce what we have learned in class and develop good time management skills.  In addition to any written assignments, students will be expected to read every night for at least 20 minutes.
