Mrs. Leidner’s Homework Policy 2017-18

AGENDA NOTEBOOK
Your child will record important reminders and homework assignments in his/her agenda notebook each night. Please check and initial your child’s agenda notebook each night.

READING
Students should read Monday-Thursday for a minimum of 20 minutes . The book title and minutes read should be logged in the agenda notebook. 

MATH SHEET
Students will be assigned a math sheet  3-4 times a week.  Please assist your child with problems that are challenging and circle the challenging problem number in pen. This way your child gets the one-one support he/she needs and I can track who needs additional teaching.

REFLEX MATH
Students should practice their math facts using the Reflex Math Program 3 times a week on any days that work best for your family. Login information about Reflex Math is attached. The session is over when your child has a green light. Your child should write an “R” on the calendar page in the agenda notebook to keep track of when they are doing Reflex Math. This is the same calendar they are logging their reading.
